Never played it, tried Lord of the Rings online but found it really laggy when there were a few players in the same area, is it the same in WoW?
No, WoW is really smooth, only time I ever got near slowdown was in one of the major cities when there was a festival on and there must have been hundreds of people milling around.I haven't played my account in a good 2 years.
I played it for two weeks non-stop a few years back, then deliberately jacked it in to save my life. (I actually got withdrawal symptoms for a few days, was really grumpy and couldn't sleep! ) Then I tried again about 6 months later and got bored within 2-3 weeks. Lasted a similar time with Tabula Rasa and Warhammer.

Wow, two 80's, that's commitment.
Not really that much - the Ret Pally is so easy to level it's silly - 350k xp per hour is easy to manage so levels just whizz by.Levelled the 1st one 70-80 slowly though to enjoy the new scenery.
Question is... what next? Finish gearing hte war and pally for Raiding or level the mage or priest..?
It doesn't take that long to get through the new content, but it is much more imaginative than the old Outland geography. The dungeon instances are more linear and generally quite short, which for me makes for better playability. I just don't have 4-5 hours to slog through a raid! The new PvP area called Wintergrasp is good fun, with various mechanisms to ensure that it isn't the same faction that wins time after time.
