Xbox Hard Drive

As far as I understand it, you can only transfer data on or off a HDD once with the cable, so be careful where you source your drive from.
You will also need a cable from Microsoft, and it must be a new one as any disc from before last week won't work with the new software update. I don't know why they have to make it such a pain! I just want to play my own games on my second console which I've bought new myself!

I'll have to delete some crap off my hdd when I get home with my shiny copy of forza tomorrow!
Annoying thing is, I have a 60GB HDD sat ontop of my guitar amp, but no cable to transfer it, and to apply online It says I must have bought an elite, gyer
And I'm back from Spain, so look out for me rolling range rovers on forza

Can anyone give me some idea of what the current going rate for a 120Gb HDD is? (On my phone as PH is blocked at work, and trying to surf for prices is a ballache! ) And do they still ship with a transfer cable? I hope so, as I've already applied for one from MS using the serial no. of my current Xbox, so I doubt they'll send me another....
I may well have a 60Gb HDD for sale if/when I buy a 120Gb. I should just have bought the 120Gb rather than the 60Gb in the first place! Doh.
