Re wireless:
The wireless adaptor is an extra £55-£60 and is not included in the box.
Move hell and high water (or routers and skirting boards at least) to get you eXbox within Cat5 cables reach of your router. It's a tad better for online gaming than wireless anyway.

Thanks guys, got it sitting next to me!

Sorry I'm a bit confused RE the wireless convo, do you mean I need to get a wireless adaptor thing so I can get online on it?

Yeah I think so, unless you've got an ethernet cable so it can be wired directly to your router.

This is what I got 2 weeks ago from game (In shop).

xbox elite bundle that came with Forza 3 + Any one of 4 select games (Halo was chosen)for £199.99.

Then they had a deal that you get an extra controller for just £19.99 when you buy forza. This worked even though forza was already part of a bundle.

£219.98 for:
Xbox elite
2 controllers
Halo ODST
Forza 3.

What are the steering wheel options like for the Xbox these days? I take it I couldn't just plug my DFP or a G25 in and have it work?

As of tomorrow I'll be an Xbox owner, I went for the Amazon deal because Sainsburys/Asda were out of stock and I didn't want Fifa 10 because I already have that for the PS3 (which I'll trade in in for MW2)

One things for sure though, gaming is bloody expensive! eek

The accessories sure do mount up very quickly (Live subsciption, wireless adapter, extra controller, errr games). I've had to put off servicing my Elise until early December because of feckin' Forza! smash

I think I'll stay offline on the Xbox for a while though because there's no real rush, I'll be using the PS3 to get used to MW2 and then in a few weeks/months I'll unleash hell on the Xboxers online, they won't know what's shot them! shoothehe
