ok, the Porsche in GT3 is the GT3. I't comes with 1,400 somting bhp. i't can't be modified, but can hit a good 299-300 mph on the test track(because it's impossible to turn). No cheats or anything. And the Lambo is a Dioblo race car. very very good. 900 somthin BHP. and thiers another hidden car i just found goin through my game. an S2000.

The Mazda RX8 sounds awesome in the game, as do the Exige (fully-tuned) and the Tuscan (stock). The fastest around the circuits, however, I think, is the Mazda 787B.

The fastest (apart from F1 cars) is definately the Toyota GT-ONE race car, with the stage 4 turbo. Above 200km/h it will absolutely destroy the 787B in a straight line, and the braking and downforce are also much greater at any speed.

GT-ONE and R390 are very similar on acceleration (0-1000m), both are slightly faster than the 787B. Top speed of the R390 and 787B is almost identical at ~420km/h but the GT-ONE can get to ~440km/h.

The GT-ONE is twitchy, you are right, but this is what gives it the ability to turn in very late and hard. I can get the GT-ONE around midfield about 1 sec faster then the R390 and about 2 secs faster than the 787B. Also I find the 787B has very unforgiving suspension, which will mess you up if you clip a kerb (I think the spring rates are set at 19 or something as standard!). Of course, a lot depends on driving style etc. so I'm not saying that you are wrong.

I suppose my favourite car on the game is the Ruf RGT: when you get rid of the u/s it's just like a real old 911 - you steer it almost entirely on the throttle, which makes it huge fun around Monaco or the really long Tokyo night circuit (Route 11? Long, long start straight into a slightly downhill flat right-hand sweeper).

The Ruf's at its best around the Special Stage R5 Wet circuit, though, because it's never in a straight line. Don't know the settings, but my best lap round there is a low 1:17 point something (point 2, I think).

Thought the fastest car was the Pikes Peak Suzuki, as in GT2? The handling's totally rubbish, but 1700bhp gets it off the line fairly quickly - and you can make it wheelie at 440+km/h...
