I was digging a tunnel from the new breeder round the back of your base and ended up in the middle of a load of redstone. Tried replacing it but end up with a redstone clock so have left it as I don't know what's up with it. You can access it via a tunnel next to the breeder, the co-ords where the redstone got damaged is -69 71 -0.
hmm, cant think of what that would be, ill have a look tonight and see what it is..i ought to put redstone on different blocks really to distinguish what it is hahaMonkeySpeed69 said:

Theres an enchanting set up at the farm, we will eventually bring books when we have more leather
The endermen can either be killed by hand (one hit kill) or with TNT lit with flint and steel (there is a few in the chest near the farm) - Theres instructions detailing where to place the TNT etc, its fairly self explanatory but the last thing we want is any explosive accidents
The farm is very efficient thanks to our guy "Ender Bait" the ender mite sat in his minecart at the top
Here ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReFmGmqtJuA&fe... ) is a little clip showing the farm in action that Terry recorded on his phone, 15 levels and two and a half stacks of ender pearls (i forgot to open my inventory to show them..oops) in a few seconds
It took a while to build due to Terry's fear of virtual heights and general wimpyness when building over the void, and my short attention span, but it was all worth it and i hope everyone gets good use out of it

Works good. Nice job.

I notice in the video you have Vsync turned on. Any reason why? If you turn it off you should nearly treble your FPS. Theres an enchanting set up at the farm, we will eventually bring books when we have more leather

Villager hall looks good you must have been busy overnight as we were on till 9pm
What is Vsync and how do you turn it off?
ESCAPE > OPTIONS > VIDEO SETTINGS > USE VSYNC > OFF.What is Vsync and how do you turn it off?
Set rendering distance to around 16 chunks (about optimal viewing distance vs. performance).
Set framerate to maximum.
Now press F3 and check your FPS at the same place.

I've discovered a monument out west towards the ice biome. It's at 407 in the west nether tunnel, marked by yellow clay. I'd suggest 8 min invisibility and water breathing potions for an easy life without wearing armour.
The area to the immediate north is in a nice expanse of deep ocean which will be perfect to build mob tower too.

It has given him better fps thanks
I have started getting puffer fish and making breathing potions
Have had a quick look at the monument, what is the plan?

Find and kill the 3 boss guardians first to remove mining fatigue, build perimeter wall round exterior + 3 blocks, empty water with sponges found from sponge rooms, remove monument, build guardian spawner tank.I'm preparing the terrain for a wither skele farm in the north tunnel. Have removed some islands already but even the small ones have a surprising amount of blocks in them . Slabbing the ground. It's a huge job and harder due to not having any TNT. The effy 3 unbreaking 3 diamond picks are 12 emeralds from my villager and I've been using those as any diamond pick with effy goes through netherack very fast. I've got 10 skulls already from conditioning the fortress a bit but there's far too many blaze and pigmen to deal with and it's hard work.

Me and Monkey have killed the 3 elders and started marking out the perimeter
We only have the 3 sponges we got off the elders there does not seem to be a sponge room
Every monument has at least 1 sponge room and they can have up to 3. Definitely need around 2 stacks of sponges to do water clearance otherwise you're forever running back to the ovens to dry them. I'll see if I can locate some more monuments. We only have the 3 sponges we got off the elders there does not seem to be a sponge room

Now we have marked the perimeter, i am right in saying there's nothing stopping us taking the monument down and finding the sponge room?MonkeySpeed69 said:

I've just had a look inside and couldn't find it either. Noticed on the wiki it says they don't always have them so maybe got unlucky with that one. I know when Steve and I were playing on the old world we found some with 3 sponge rooms. You can hack it down but even with aqua affinity it'll be hard work with the water there, not to mention the guardians. Personally I wouldn't even attempt it without the water drained. I'd say the first priority would be to find sponge.Found some more monuments not that far away, to the SE of spawn. -2344 680, -1328 1304, -1480 1800 ish. If you go through the quarry portal and go to the southern most point of the desert and get in a boat, all 3 are in that ocean.
I'm still working on the wither skele farm area, slabbing large areas to prevent ZPM spawns and removing more islands. Slowing improving the rates, up to 21 skulls now. Just be aware of potentially aggro ZPM if you're anywhere in the nether as I'm killing them to force new spawns.
