anyone else having connection issues? i can barely log into gran turismo. loading times are, quite literally, over 10minutes and when it does load, it says can't connect to server, time and date wrong etc.

yet, as you can see, my internet is working fine. i'm also logged into PSN.

wtf confused

i'm getting the following for internet connection test:

optain IP address - succeeded
internet connection - succeeded
PSN - succeeded
UPnP - unavailable
NAT type - type 2
download speed - 1.2Mbps
upload speed - 970.1kbps

is the UNPN unavailable why i'm having troubles? internet speed usually quicker than that....

Wouldnt have thought so, a lack of uPNP support just means your router won't take direct requests from the PS3 to open ports for it automatically (automating firewall config basically). If uPNP isnt supported by your router or its turned off, you have to set ports manually in the firewall rules which I assume you've already done.

Id say you've got line/ISP issues if its slower than normal.

Ross, while the family were sleeping off sunday lunch so i thought i'd slip a quick couple of races in. I kept getting disconnected time after time over about an hour and could see a few others, you included going on then offline. I just turned the PS3 off and rebooted everying. The room i was trying to get into had a few others having connection issues too so i'm guessing the network is being silly.

Congrats Norbs - well played mate.

Ta for organising Nick.

Utter st for me tonight though. No first race because of the deadly black screen glitch - first time I've had a problem online. Then start first in the second race, only to get punted off on one of the fast corners on the first lap - two nudges while I'm on the edge of grip in the corner, makes my tyres let go into the worlds biggest tank slapper, which puts me from 3rd to very last in one move - one for the stewards :-)

st end to the champ for me but I've enjoyed it a lot overall - some fun racing.

Thanks Nick for organising the champ u are a star!!

I don't have to drive my R8 again neither!!!!!!Piece of junk. Please no one pick iT!!!

On a side not which may be in contrast to my first point could the steward please have a look at Nicks move on me on the last bend on the last lap in race two.....
I know some off us made mistakes and may have run over it, but i didn't think we were allowed to gain an advantage from cuting chicanes or using run offs!!!

I will put my spoon away!! Good racing all and u Nick i need all the help i can get smile

Thanks Nik for organising. Congrats to Norbs.

Awesome racing this week. Last race was probably the most fun of them all and such a fitting end to a top laugh.

1st combo for new champ (if you didnt hear it in the lobby) will be posted tomorrow.

Who had the fastest lap in race 2? wish they made it easier to review the laps time ect in the replay rather than watch it all..

A brilliant end to the championship, well done Norbury and a huge thanks to Nick for organising and keeping the championship going clap.

Can't wait 'til DD's new championship.
