I don't get whats similar about them apart from being modern first person shooters. The online is so different yet every thread about Battlefield seems to be people slating COD?

I buy both and play SP on both and only MP on Battlefield, surely they are both great multiplayer depending on the way you play. I don't like the lone wolf itchy trigger finger was of play I associate with COD so I play Battlefield which IMO is more tactical and a bit slower pace.

The threads are getting like the PS3 vs XBOX threads. Bit tiresome.

I don't think a purchase of any of the COD games is worth it for just for the single player.

Back to Battlefield 3. It will be interesting to see how the PS3 and Xbox versions look compared to these videos.

I'm working from home today to take my car to the garage, the temptation to play BF is very high. "just a cheeky rush" the devil on my shoulder says.

Problem is Salgar, one cheeky rush turns into "well if I defended its only fair that I get to attack too" and then "hmm wonder what is next, oh I like this map, another game won't hurt" Before you know it your whole morning/afternoon has gone!!!
