Crashes 2 a piece for me and a mate. Trying to put us into servers with no slots. A [EPIC] dice battles CQ server turning out to be 1000 ticket rush on Damavand peak of all places...WTF...
Plus, Helis and jet seem to just dominate now: As a tank on firestorm rolling towards C from the south, we got took out in one stream of perfect hit rockets from a Havok over A - that's just not on IMO. And you can't lock on fast enough or score hits with shells or javelins well enough to ruin their day and make them a bit more circumspect.
Didn't really enjoy my 2 hours trying to get a decent game in. Certainly not 'pick up and have a laugh' like it was.

Can someone add me on PS3? (DanB7290) As I'm sick of being absolutely slaughtered because I've rarely played online and always seem to get stuck with people in a similar position, and the opposing team is full of the hardcore gamer type (i.e. plays it for 23.5 hrs, masturbates, cries, drink mountain dew and repeat). As you can imagine I'm getting pretty pissed off with it and find myself going back to MW3. Decided I'm gonna give this one more try though, and have bought the engineer pack, with a few better unlocks I might have a chance of not being bummed every game.

If in doubt RPG will take them out. Adding people who played well with you and helped in matches is the way to get into teams that aren't crap. It's also more fun and you get unlocks just by sitting in their vehicle or reviving them etc. Merlin28 said:

Aye, just had an epic 77 minute game of Rush where we were defending, used the RPG a few times as suggested, mainly for taking out vehicles but managed a few cheeky kills with it too, but the G36C is now my main choice, finally managed to play a game where I finished with a KDR of more than 1. Tended to go round with the squad rather than just running and gunning (can tell I've played too much MW3!) and we'd support each other, and if one of us was killed the others would get him. I'm beginning to like it a lot more now I'm not getting raped on every game!Civpilot said:

After having played a few hours of BF3 post patch (compared to over 200hrs pre-patch 
), it strikes me that you have to play the game completely differently to be successful.
I pretty much only play "normal" core and you now have to be much more sneaky and calcualted than pre-patch. Before you could get away moving around outside of cover if you had your wits about you (and were a decent shot) from time to time, as it was worth the risk to move quickly and you could generally spot where enemies would come from and react in time to stop yourself getting killed 9 times out of 10.
Now it seems that if you get jumped even by half a second by anyone with any weapon then you're dead, as you cannot return accurate fire and it's difficult to even see who is shooting at you due to suppression blurring.
You also need to consider distances and the weapon you have equipped when shooting - the recoil and innaccuracy of some weapons makes it senseless to try to engage some targets at some ranges, whereas pre-patch you could have a go at taking them out.
E.g. using an assault rifle with a 3.4x scope at 150 yds on burst fire - possible pre-patch, absolutely pointless post patch as your 2nd and 3rd bullets sail way over your target's head.
I also agree that I get booted/frozen out much more often post-patch, but that may be due to me playing longer games on custom servers now.
