Yeah, thanks mate. Really needed you messing about. If you don't like snipers then don't be one but I don't complain about the way you play. I play as all classes, if I want to play as sniper then I'll play as sniper. I don't need you running up to me and shining your tactical light in my face because you don't like me playing as a sniper. Lol was that PS3 today around 6-7pm? I got killed by that guy about a million times. Managed to make him retreat through with a few well placed RPGs. Was annoying when it got to nose hair canals. Some guy on the American team got in the little bird and pretty much spent the whole game in it, killin everyone. You couldn't even get any surface to air stuff... He'd just fly out to sea and he had flares and IR smoke. Difficult to take down, very wood pilot. We got owned.a. unfortunately i cant stand softcore

t. The rest of us got creamed as we're heavily outnumbered making the game kinda pointless. You want to snipe? Fine. But do it when it actually helps the team, do it when it helps achieve an objective. This is a squad based, team based, objective based game. If you like playing the lone wolf go and play COD or something. Ironically this was clearly shown in one of the following games when the rest of the PH "regulars" turned up and dominated Grand Bazar AS A TEAM. I think I MVP'd with very few kills but about 7 or 8 Medic ribbions. Top work tonight fellas, makes a huge difference when you get a bunch of people playing it properly.

I had my SOFLAM out and was painting targets, you were playing as engineer. How many of my painted targets did you take out? Yep, not one. Just because we weren't next to you holding your hand doesn't mean we weren't playing as a team.
Want me to get in amongst the action? No problem, I can do that. I'm not very good and will take up lots of tickets, but if that's the way you want me to play then I can do it. I'll make sure to play in the thick of it next time I'm on your team.

I enjoyed it! The bazaar round was good ,one of those rounds where it doesn't feel like you're losing even though you're losing if that makes sense? I loved it when the PH crowd were pinned in the market tunnel from B to C and trying to fight their way out.
Oh, and to whoever abandoned the perfectly good tank at Seine crossing letting us go 2 tanks down whenthe enemy nicked it? NOT COOL
My funniest moment was on that map. I was over the road from D ,hid behind some rubble, as support. The PH tank (Norfolk'n'chance?) was rolling towards me ,and took out my mate but I didn't think he'd seen me. I was waiting for him to roll up and park at D so I could get all C4 happy on him. My dead mate was saying 'nev, just hide there, stay low and I'll spawn on you' and just as he said that the tank came past the rubble and stopped - with his main gun literally resting on my guys nose. And it was good night vienna.

Put BF3 back into the xbox yesterday after a few months off and have to say I'm not about this new rent a server feature.
By selecting quick match I keep getting stuck in servers that just have the same maps repeating over and over or get into a map that has hundreds of spawn tickets on conquest for example, was on Gulf of Oman for over an hour yesterday! Had to stick with it as I'm trying to level recon up and got a good points haul but it got rather boring by the end.

People do need to learn to point the arse of the tank away from where people will come from as they get their back doors smashed in with 2 shots...

Yeah, was a Dutch fella doing it and i joined near the end when 'we' held C but promptly lost it. Probably didnt help that as it was softcore, Ive got to remember that 1/2 rounds dont put someone down but empty a clip into them.As for the person complaining about snipers, play HC Rush on Kharg island, always a good tea bagging session there :-D

Was getting very fed up of seeing 2-3 shots register from the heavy machine gun on the tank only to see the guy I was shooting continue to run and hide. Im pretty sure even 1 shot from such a large gun would have you in pieces.
I think earlier on that server on firestorm I was on the US side and the RU lot were being very very good with the Jets. constantly bombing the F/A18 spawn and then we had a guy in a T90 sat outside the base pot shotting the empyt tanks and no one was doing anything about it. I tried to get him in a tank a few times but I think he had guided shells or a guy with a Javelin or something. Eventually got him to move by coming round to his side with a few RPGs. Didnt kill him though.

I set the server up for two reasons: to help us get together and play as a group (more enjoyable banter on here), and to have some control over the sort of games/tactics that can spoil a good session.
As long as admins keep to those principles I won't have any issue.

Are you sure someone hadn't planted C4 on your tank before throwing the grenade? Talking about LMGs - the change in spread of bullets when changing from firing from the hip to firing on a bipod is ridiculous. It changes from being a spray and pray to a lasar beam! It would be nice to have a spread somewhere in between when you need to suppress an alleyway or corridor etc.
