I had to go with my pre-sunrise shot at Crater Lake, as being there a little after 4am took quite some commitment...

Right, this was a ridiculously difficult decision. I've never seen such an active montly competition. So to reflect that, I've decided to do a top 5.
I spent quite a while trying to pick number 5 because I wanted to mention about another 4 people, but here it is, HoHoHo's boat scene:
I feel bad for not putting this shot in the top 3, it's superb. Number 4 is JSS 911:
In at number 3, such a serene and soft shot. Stunning yet again by John185K:
Ok, Baz, this set was epic. That is the perfect word for every picture. This particular picture is my second favourite and you might wish to do me harm for saying this, but your original entry was may favourite Never-the-less, an amazing shot and you certainly grafted for it! Baz7175 at number 2:
So I'm a big fan of this guy's work, but I didn't let that cloud my judgement. To me, the scene has been captured inch perfectly and so from a technical viewpoint and a not so technical stance this is my all round winner. RobDickinson's measured capture:
Over to you, Rob!
