I went on a photo day to a leopard reserve last weekend. Spending a whole day around them was fantastic, the photos were the icing on the cake.

The black panthers were particularly cool. They're the same as normal African leopards, but black. As a result they're not camoflaged, and are naturally more aggressive! We were warned they work as a team, one distracts you, while the other tries to sneak up on you

Simply brilliant pics.

Love the second one with the catch light in the eye of the leopard, beautiful portrait.

Also the black panther - the pose says to me "I'm just lounging around until you get in range and then fk you've had it sunshine.

Seconded or thirded call for the location. I'd love to go and photograph these magnificent cats.

Thanks for the feedback guys, glad you liked them.

The Sanctuary is in Welwyn. I went with Wild Arena, www.wildarena.com/wa/bigcat.html , pricey, but a great day.

Yes, that's the one. I've also done a day with them photographing Raptors and am doing this soon www.wildarena.com/wa/birdsoftheworld.html

A friend has done their Marwell day, which he said was excellent too.
