I went on another Wild Arena photography day last week, at the English School of Falconry. It was great fun. Excellent value too, 10am to 5pm, £69 midweek.

Yeah, that was my favourite shot of the day. He was supposed to be looking the other way at this lot

but he was more interested in looking at my wheelchair. I got the shot as I was trying to move away and stop distracting him, with little success. Funny how things happen sometimes

The essence of photography huh? Always be prepared - great shot results!

I hope these guys give you a commission

Just having a browse on their web site. This day plus the big cats plus the opportunity to photograph red squirrels and badgers (without domster attacking them in the baron)..and then trip to Skomer to photograph Puffins. This could get very very expensive.

Chimgirl - thanks for fixing the picture, couldn't work out what I'd done wrong.

It's a Pbase thing, you have to add .jpg at the end of the link. You can also specify the size, hence I added /medium to keep the pictures screen sized.

Lovely: I vote for the top one (higher degree of difficulty!). Did you use tracking AF?

Yes, AI servo on my 1D Mk 2. It worked well against that plain background, but struggled a bit with similar coloured objects nearby, such as wood, trees etc.
