I used to judge a car photo competition for a magazine. I loved it when, instead of the shiny finish with pristine wheels, I received an image of a fly-spattered front number plate and pad material on the front alloys, with a bit down the side. Worse still, there were photos of cars done up for a wedding but without the bride. My wife wouldn't let me choose one of those.
I think a person in a picture of a car can makes it. It's not easy though, but if they do fit in, it got my vote and as I was the only one to vote . . .
One from the end of the daylight after a blast round the Cairngorms in March.

My car had considerably more flies/wasps and other stingy, itchy critters squished on by the time I got home.
Continuing the migration of all my st from the sinking ship of Photobucket onto Flickr. Picked almost at random from albums, an American car meet from last year at Brooklands; https://www.flickr.com/photos/150015993@N08/albums...

I like that, decent image, nice background. I keep trying to do the same with my car but not really venturing more than about fifty miles from home limits the potential backgrounds. There are some great pics in here.
