^ Looks like GF's shot?
Doesn’t it just? In which case, why’s it been posted by someone else.... He also gave me a fast lightroom lesson . I’m hoping to more with George when I return even though I’m more interested in street photography and portraits than cars . I found the time with George very useful , he is a very good friend . I can not recommend his training and photography services enough .

I like what you've done with it, only thing I'd say is to apply lens corrections to remove the distortion - look at the straight lines above the pit garage doors, they're slightly curved. Note that I'm assuming you're using Lightroom or some other app with this feature, if Lightroom then doing this will also remove the natural vignette you get from the light falling off at the corners of the frame, this may mean you need to add a little more post-crop vignette to get the same look you have now.Oooh….just discovered this thread. Some excellent pics here by very skilled people.
I'm just a regular amateur who enjoys photography and aiming to improve where possible (so will never be as good as the semi- or full pros but one can always improve).
Many pics tend to be holidays etc. My other interest is car trackdays (which I do far too many ) and therefore I also have an interest in taking pics of cars on trips, in pitlanes at the end of trackdays when the light is fairly diffuse and the straight lines/garages/light/wonderful cars create a lovely backdrop. These are not pics with a great amount of thought or setup...typically a spontaneous click and shoot as and when one is resting inbetween track sessions, something interesting comes up, etc. More thought would produce something more complete I guess.
I have been using full frame prosumer Nikon gear which I find pretty easy to use and flexible for my needs. So far I have spent more effort on general shot composition than anything more custom. Though my next step is to improve my knowledge of manual control and I would like to do more evening/night work and some light painting.
Some examples below:
(sorry for posting so many! I intended to post a few but then kept going! )
Still learning...but great to see the work of better skilled people here.

Some beauties in there - good work
I echo this, some brilliant ones!LaSource said:
If I had any feedback, I'd say I think this photo could do without the angle. I'm not 100% sure of that, but the composition looks really nice even when I tilt my head and everything is aligned normally. I hope I don't get banned for this but I shot a bike for the first time last week and we got a feature on Pipeburn.com!

Feature is here if anyone wants a read, it's a cool machine and there's a good write up on it - https://www.pipeburn.com/home/2019/04/17/special-k...
