Why are there so few car photographs?

Silverstone earlier this week...
Nice pics - what camera/lens was being used?Nikon D750 with the kit lens (24-120/f4 I think)
I also shoot with a D750 and its nice to follow others with similar kit Plus, very much enjoying your shots.

It is a bit single track and mainly just cars I drive on circuit, in pitlanes, or on the way to trackdays, etc
Lots of stuff I haven't posted there...I guess I need to start posting!

I’m impressed, these are some of the best car pics I’ve ever come across in a forum. They all look so sharp with rich colours and a dramatic sky; was any post-processing involved?
That is very kind of you. I feel there is so much still to learn.Yes there is some post processing - usually just tweaking through lightroom, raising shadow details, bringing out some of the details in the sky, etc. I think post processing is kinked to personal taste...some people may find the post processing attractive, others less so. Someones ones own taste changes such that you see something you did a year earlier and it looks all wrong
On that note....here is today's offering...

Perhaps you are right - I was a bit unsure with the original picture but went with it...slightly different treatment here.Yes there is some post processing - usually just tweaking through lightroom, raising shadow details, bringing out some of the details in the sky, etc. I think post processing is kinked to personal taste...some people may find the post processing attractive, others less so.
