Why are there so few car photographs?

Classic Wings & Wheels 2019 last saturday:






Fresh Oly OMD E10 Mk3 with standard zoom and 67 mm Nikon Pola. What amazes me is the ease of this 3/4 system camera. It's so robust, compact and handles images with an analog and warm feel. I use Oly Workspace to process ORF (RAW) but only detailing.

Back lit scene does not fool the OMD!

Opel Ascona. Found this excellent example at a car show in Selkirk recently. My first car was an Ascona in 1984. Great to drive. Used to thrash it around the forest tracks on the hillls behind my folks house pretending it was a Manta 400. When the rot set in on the door panels, I sprayed the lower half with black stone chip. Would look awful now but in those days was really cool! Of course mine was fitted with Halfords spot and fog lamps on the front bumper. Those where the days. Great car.
