Yes, agree on that.

Like the overhead overlay shot a lot. Nice.

Technically not totally in line with the thread title, so I'll remove them if it's an issue.

Nice shots there mate. Where are these taken?
Thank you! These are all in the Connemara area in the west of Ireland, my parents live in Galway and I'm there for a while.
I was wondering the same thing. That middle shot struck me as the R335 from Louisburgh to Leenanne. A cracking, challenging road.

Couldn't resist pulling over to grab a photo of the Sun setting last night. Driving this car through an empty city is like being in your own film!

Good ol' COVID meant a very, very late race event at Castle Combe this year (on Saturday). That meant awesome light (and also brutal wind and rain, but that just adds to the fun)...

Nope, handheld. IS off (interferes with slow panning) and lots of practice!

Nice one, thanks for that. I've never had much luck below 1/50 I think but then I've generally left stabilisation on, will try that!

So until about a week ago this was our family bus, now sold to make way for something less cumbersome (wife wanted back into a car rather than a big SUV so we now have a Jaguar XFS estate). Lots of memories in this car, we got it when Mrs 8bit was 8 months pregnant with our eldest, carried both our boys home from hospital and all of us on most of our adventures to date. The last adventure was a few weeks ago up to an Airbnb holiday cottage in the Caringorm Mountains during some traditional Scottish weather. I had to pop out to Aviemore Tesco one afternoon and I liked the surroundings so I chucked my camera in the back and made a few stops along the way, since this was the closest to proper 4x4 territory the car's ever been since we had it...

It was wet and stormy and cold, but I wouldn't normally go so stylised with the blues. I think I like it though.
