That's my dream car, is there a build thread you know of?
I don't think so, on the shoot he said he didn't have any photos of it at all..Here's another shot from the set

Took a few of the old boat down the beach. Think I need to make them more contrasty though as they dont 'ping' much. I just wanted to avoid clipping and losing the lovely clouds and making things look a bit more filmic than electronic. Maybe drop the luminance first and then push the contrast a bit more?

What beach did you take this on?Another greeny fave :

I think you are right mate - pushed it a bit below but kept it subtle and 'cinematic'. Wish I could move the vignette to the right a bit. Doesn't seem to be any way to do that in Camera RAW?
Have you tried yo just 'dodge and burn' to move it across a little?Edited by TheBlondeFella on Thursday 12th November 13:22

What's SO?!
Standing order!LOL - sorry a typo. Its SOOOOO not F2.8 all the way - its at least half a stop down at 70mm
I'm actually looking at the Canon 24-105 F4 - seems to be a good buy at about £500 for a full frame L lens - our 24-70 F2.8 is triple!
You might get one for something much closer to £400 these days - there seem to be plenty out there liberated from Kit systems.

I think you've overcooked this one. The shadows don't make much sense and it gives it the impression of being flat when I reckon by the beautiful light, it was quite contrasty. Also you're getting banding in the sky, although I guess that could be Thumbsnap's downsizing.Edited by TheBlondeFella on Friday 13th November 11:12
Constructive criticism is always appreciated.
Sometimes it takes someone else to tell you what you already know.
I'm going work on the image a little more and then re post.
The location was amazing. Took 90 minutes of the roughest road Ive ever driven to get there but it was worth it.

Sorry, but compositionally this image looks unbalanced with the vehicle too far into the right bottom corner making it feel cramped, added to which there is little of interest in either the foreground or background, the sky as already mentioned is far too saturated, but then it is just a holiday snap!

In you're opinion, of course. ;o). I'm glad you're not my picture editor. lolYB
As for the sky, it looks more saturated on here for some reason than it does on my screen. However, anyone who has been to that part of the world will tell you that the skies are the bluest you've ever seen, you just have to see them.
