4. I'm blessed to live in a beautiful corner of the country with some amazing scenery on the doorstep. This is about 3 miles from home.

I am from just down the road in Marton!!! I don't live there at the moment (in the dreary midlands) but secretly I wish I lived back in the North East where my parents live. Have some lovely shots from the top of Roseberry as well. Lovely place. We know the guy who lives in the house right opposite the Roseberry car park...perfect base for a day of walking and photography. Nothing like that here unless you want to drive all the way out to the peak district.

BTW.. can I pinch that Roseberry photo? Reminds me of home.

Its a year to the day that I got my camera so my only shots are from this year. I think I've learnt quite a bit in the last 12 months and much of it is down to what I've seen and read here and some great tips off Mark Mullen.

Anyways heres my 5:

1. I had to include this first one. Its one of the first I took and some how it managed to get printed in Yorkshire Life. Lucky and Proud!

2. This one is again a very early one. My first go at editing. Its constantly being found by google results and is one of my most viewed.

3. From the 2012 TT. Ive just re uploaded this as I've been playing round with the set from the TT to send over to the Isle of Man for the guys who print the programs. Fingers crossed one of them will make the cut!

Not a patch on the majority but I had pretty slim pickings this year. Recently purchased a 60D now though so am aiming to get out a lot more this coming year

So, in no particular order:

1. Taken at Wales Rally GB - great day out and this one was probably the pick of the bunch as Mr.Loeb was travelling rather quickly at the time so was quite pleased I managed to capture it!



2. My favourite of the many shots I took during a late spring walk in the woods - Taken near Castell Coch



3. This one was taken before the 'final push' was made to the summit of Mt. Etna back in July.



4. This shot was taken at the Wilton House supercar event at the end of the summer. Not sure why I picked this one in particular but I like it, so hey!



5. Finally, my favourite shot of my pride and joy taken at Ogmore-by-sea on the S.Wales coast

These aren't technically amazing photos (I bought my first proper(ish) camera in July - like othere here I'm pretty new to this!) - but they're my favourites from my first 6 months of photography...once I've learned some more about Lightroom (bought a copy last week), I may process some of these and see where I get to!
