I must admit, even after reading up on the water resistance specs, it still didn't feel right at all taking it in the pool with me! And was very heppy when it continued to work afterwards
Just make sure you don't need to cable charge soon after - it always detects water in the port and won't charge until its dry - can take up to a full day to become usable again. Wirelss charging is ok.Order66 said:

Ah yes, I made sure to charge fully that morning. And there was a symbol of a water droplet in the info bar at the top. the-norseman said:
I've had mine in the pool/sea but just not under water yet. might play around with it next time I'm near a pool or the sea.
I did wonder about the sea, and if it would be still fine under water, or if the salt could hurt it, but then again, the pool was full of chlorine.Order66 said:

One of the few times I used wireless charging on the S21U. I haven't been brave enough to try the Fold 4 for underwater photography....jamesbilluk said:

Good question, Samsung seem to suggest the only issue with salt water is salt crystallising into ports etc....anyone want to volunteer and report back.https://www.samsung.com/ph/support/mobile-devices/...

There could be some great footage to be had, Although I would worry about dropping it I think! https://www.samsung.com/ph/support/mobile-devices/...
iPhone13 (had big camera but no SD card!) actually reasonably happy with the way it came out
