A quick snap taken with an iPhone Xs, couple of years ago at the Kek Lok Si temple in Penang:
A very quick snap, taken whilst wandering; I remember being quite amazed that a phone camera could deal with the lighting and I believe they have got rather better in the (nearly) 2 years since.
I can't wait to be able to travel again!

Glad I've found this thread, what a brilliant idea for a thread and great combination of photos too... I'll likely end up posting a lot of photos of my dog since he's the one I take most phone camera photos of!!
Here is my favourite, which I'm keen to try and get blown up as big as possible to display in the house.. but don't want to lose any of the quality. I guess that's the downside of not owning a DSLR/having a DSLR hanging round my neck everywhere I go.

That’s an awesome shot for a 12 max pro! Did you do any editing? I have the 12 pro and I’m not getting results close to that
Thanks. Shot Raw and with less than a minute of "tweaking" to bring back that light - point really was it was just a grabbed "snap" to start with, but just decided to hit raw button for the thought that otherwise a lot of data would be lost in the exposure range there. That was always going to be a bit hit or miss - often finding that the in-lens flare is annoying on the 12 M P, but just overriding its tendencies to dish up what it thinks you want is the powerful bitGassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
