Nice short Chris.
Oh st, everyone to the bunker, UK weather warning. Slightly more rain and somewhat brisker winds rape and pillage sleepy Hertfordshire town.

I rather like that for a number of reasons - I assume wellies might have been required to get into position?
As an aside - "Feet"?
Nice to see that flood level posts have not yet been forcibly metricated. (Well, unless metres are on the other side. Did you by any chance manage to get a shot of the other side? Waders required?)

It was feet both side but I suspect it will be metric soon! Although I don't accurately imagine metric measurements like I do imperial, imperial is so stupid, as elucidated recently by this chap:

A few from me taken over the last couple of weeks. The first two are taken at Lyme Regis. The second two at Brixham, and the final one on Dartmoor
Looked straight past this shot a few times since you posted it, but for the brief second before Chrome resized it I saw it at native size - lovely shot. Just needs to be viewed a tad bigger (in new tab worked for me) to appreciate the colours.JSS 911 said:

Winds have died over the night and I was greeted by a lovely sunrise this morning

I've seen a lot of photo's from non-tog friends of this mornings sunrise on Facebook etc, but that's probably the first to do it any real justice.Sunrise Canoe Lake by sinky 911, on Flickr
Still quite glad I missed it though - I love my bed too much right now.
Sinky, that is absolutely stunning. Bravo.
