Great photo but that looks like a pint. Newcy Brown should be served in a half pint glass.

Thanks, I'll bear that in mind for another time. We're not beer drinkers as a rule, prefer cider, but we are doing a series of these and need to have some variety smile

Is that a tradition for the original recipe?

If so does it still apply to the new variant?

When it changed (probably for the umpteenth time in recent history) under new ownership I thought it had lost most of the character I liked about it.

Not tried it for a while now.

I think it's a tradition. It keeps the head. I'm sure I read it on the bottle once. I haven't had Newcastle Brown for a while either. There are far too many tastier real ales to be bothering with it.

Noel,

I think that is true these days. Microbrewing seems to be in vogue.

There was a time when NB stood somewhat apart as a bottled beer.

Cheers everyone, that one went nuts, flickr explore, all over facebook lol. Didnt expect that much from the location as its pretty much unshot even though its relativity accessible. Did need some fun techniques to get tho.

Fluked Explore with this one, really just messing about with an OMD E-M1 Mkii in super high res mode, 50Mp mode with fancy sensor shift from the IBIS system (can only be done on a tripod and generates a RAW image 10368 x 7776)
