Interesting place Melrose Abbey - I've never been, but have read about it.... some interesting burials, including the heart of Robert the Bruce.

You do seem to catch some good sunrise/sets dibdob! Last few I've been out for have been rather uneventful with no colour. Annoying at this time of year due to how early/late they are!!

Thanks, but it's already pretty heavily cropped. I shot it on a my D700 with my 70-200mm f/2.8 AF-S VR, so I didn't have a lot of reach. It's a great workhorse of a lens but close focusing is not its strong point. ISO was up fairly high if I recall too.
