A bit of "light painting" with an LED torch today:

A little too dark perhaps ...
I love that. Looks like it was painted by Jan Van Eyck or something cool
yes Really evocative.

Great example of photography as art.

A trip to Singapore to see the wife (been working out there for a couple of months), good to get a wander about. Took this from the viewing deck of the Marina bay sands hotel.
It's two 15 sec exposures taken using the tilt/shift, you're not actually allowed tripods so I had to be quite subtle using it.

That's it - I'm coming round for lunch...and maybe dinner...and if you don't mind I'll stay for a few days too...

Yep, made me feel hungry and I'd only just finished a substantial cooked breakfast.

Any hunger engendered by this photo is misplaced. We bought it at Winslow Farmers' Market this morning and although it's not objectionable in any way, it turned out to be a bit too sweet and didn't really have much of an apple taste.

laugh

That's a shame, it looks lovely as always.

Should I make an editorial complaint about self admitted misrepresentation?

This was a normal pic before we just took coats off due to the heat and long hike.

Problem being literally 40 feet around that corner was a BIG brown bear, walking down the same track we were walking up.

So bear spray out and retreat backwards when we meet another group on the same hike.

Mount Robson, BC is anyone is interested and a kilometer into the hike. We waited but the bear went elsewhere and we continued our 9 mile hike.

Mount Washington on Vancouver island the year before was more scary when we met a bear due to us being over 3 km's into the hike and the only folk there.

Lucky I am old and possibly smell bad so they run.
