I will pass your much appreciated comments on to my wife, it's her that sets up this sort of thing. It wouldn't have occurred to me to put that feather in, for example. We do this stuff because the scenery in my area isn't up to much and also because table top photography is very controllable, especially from the lighting point of view. Thanks for sharing them.
It's quite time consuming though, we can reckon to take about 4 hours on average to get a shot like that.

Well worth the time spent in my opinion.
Recently purchased a Helios 44m-4 to use with my Fuji X-E1...been having some fun using it with a 11mm extension tube for close up stuff..
