In that case download Photoscape (free) and use it turn your picture. You can do lots of other useful edits with it too.

Y'know, I think singlecoil ought to host a food and drink evening for us poor PH 'togs that have to put up with all of his photos.

I'd drink (and eat) to that.

Since no one has posted a photo of the eclipse, I thought I'd post my rather average attempt with a far from ideal lens.

That is really, really really nice, and a bit of a technical masterpiece.

Thank you, I ran a number of 9 bracketed expsoures, but get the base shutter speed wrong and the moon moved too much!!! In the end I used 6 images from one bracketed sequence, one at 0.5s and the other 5 1/8 -> 1/125. I wanted to retain the moon detail. Then HDR merged in Lightroom.

Does he cook his own bread though ?? Or just arrange it all and a nice photo?

I think he just arranges stuff and then spends time on arranging his "lighting" tongue out Me speaking as a cook...see latest dodgy bread making on the food dinner thread.

We might need a PH photography v food forums cooking/photography shoot off. wink

There are far better cooks on that forum thread than on here, but worse photographers. However i think the cooks can cook and snap better than a photographer can snap and cook. Now there is a challenge.

Up for it?

In the meantime something from the supermarket arranged how I wanted it. So cheeky....
