The day we picked the keys up for our new house was a bit of a marathon, 610 miles to Thurso to actually get them.... after a 7 hour wait.mad Finally starting the return leg, I decided to go to Tongue and down through the middle. Ben Loyal never disapponts me. thumbup

Been under pressure from the wife to replace the compact camera with something a bit more well, compact.
Managed to pick up a Sony wx350 for a bargain price through an offer at work. (Flash 13% sale on preloaded discount cards)

It's like Moore's law but for cameras. Half the price of the one it replaces, twice the megapixels and twice the optical zoom.

It's no DSLR but it's also small enough to fit in a pocket without looking like Linford Christie.

So far, it's a hell of a camera, could do with more manual controls but hey, ho, that might just confuse the wife and daughter.

The wifi/nfc transfer of pics to the phone is handy too.

Composite of several dozen images (blended using PSE) showing flying insects (mainly bees) attracted to sea-holly flowers in our garden. Kept me occupied for a while ...
