It's really unimpressive against some of the wonderful images posted here - but I've finally managed to get a shot of the milky way!

The kit wasn't great to be honest - 70D + EF-S 10-18mm @ 10 mm + F/4.5, but I'm still very happy I got it (kinda). Location is Portland Bill.
Au contraire! Great shot.

I went out to New Jersey earlier in the year to an event called The Race of Gentlemen, I'm now able to share some shots, there's a lot in the flickr album.

Wow love that crop, personally the reflection of the mast in your previous one always distracted me, but this is just perfect with its strong leading lines.

I was trying out some night shots in my garden and thought this might be worthwhile of an upload on here.

I was lucky to have a heron fly across the sunset this evening, it's a very close crop but I didn't have time to swap lenses frown

Cheers a few people said the reflection was distracting, I thought it made it this is far more ordinary Imo but still nice.

Cracking set you have there, with your usual eye for detail. Looks like a really good event/weekend and the weather is probably a tad better than Pendine Sands!

I really like this version, agree on the mast of the original. I'd actually be interested in getting that framed, what's the protocol with this?

Cheers. They are very different, TROG is a good party, the racing is better at Pendine. There's beach racing in Denmark now too at Romo and Bridlington, seems to be growing.
