(Please tell me they still have "Grab-A-Granny" discos at British Legion clubs? They were such a fixture of my youth. Usually when Dave's MkII Escort (a powder blue 1.3 GL 4-door, not a "sexy" one) had once again broken down outside of my house ahead of a planned trip to Baron's Nightclub in Swansea, leaving us with the stark choice between abandoning all hope of a fumble with a female and walking to the local branch of the Legion on disco night to drink Newcastle Brown Ale and chat up the somewhat more mature clientele therein...)
