Flash ist kaputt!

Bugger

Go away to a gorgeous country manor for my mum's birthday and the flash packs in

Luckily the lighting in our dining room was ok to get a few pics of the festivities then headed outside this morning to get some pics of the grounds.

I've tried everything and i think the filament is buggered... the flash pops up and everything else is working fine.

Is this a known D70 problem?

Luckily i bought it from a local shop so i can now pop in tomorrow and go nuts... worth the extra few quid it cost over buying from some faceless online shop

Have you tried removing the power for a while or resetting the camera?

it may just be a little confused..

I took the battery out and replaced it within a few seconds... i'll try for longer.

Poor thing...

update - left battery out for about 30mins, tried the flash and no luck again I'll go and have a rant at the camerashop tomorrow
