Fun little black and white photography game this photographer talks about - having a dedicated Black & White camera with a prime lens that is only used for B&W photos. Having a dedicated camera for it is probably a bit much for me (don't have a spare for a start), but I can certainly see the appeal of restricting by leaving the camera in B&W for a bit
Here's a photo of a random tree branch I took when I went out taking B&W photos (a couple of days before that video came out randomly, I just left my camera on Acros + yellow for the afternoon)

Could've sworn this thread had been updated more recently than this so apologies for the resurrection!

I think I’ve got just the tools - need the gaffer tape.... may struggle to go out shooting in JPEG.... just getting the mental attitude because I’ve been wedded to RAW for 15+ years
My Noir Camera in the making....
Its an interesting idea even to do a whole session in B&W, I switch to B&W occasionally but have never tried that.
With the Fuji I've taken to shooting in RAW+JPG so with the film simulation or B&W modes I get the JPG for quick use or reference, but can still do my own processing of the RAW file later for more dynamic range etc (Including applying different Fuji film simulations in LR).
A couple of recent ones:

One from Camden Rocks festival last year - seems ages ago given what has happened since!

Cool, but Df = OVF = no live view mode? That would make B+W mode even more of a challenge, no? Like in Ye Olde Times.I think I’ve got just the tools - need the gaffer tape.... may struggle to go out shooting in JPEG.... just getting the mental attitude because I’ve been wedded to RAW for 15+ years

Would need more skillz and imagination.
