Cheers. It’s Loch Damph in Torridon, earlier today.

Some folks definitely have location on their side.

But the benefit of the location doesn’t take away from how well composed and framed your shots are. You have a good eye.

This was taken with a Mavic over the remains of the seal colony at Kaikoura New Zeland. This was close to the epicentre of the Nov 16 earthquake that devastated a large section of the east coast.
A massive portion of this area is now over 5m above the original level. It’s devastated shore line sea life. We were luck to be one of the first tourists through the SH1 Highway after it reopened saving a 150 mile detour. Seeing the size of the landslides that closed it and the 40’ containers stacked up against it to protect the road is scary. Especially when you see the graveyard of containers ripped to shreds in subsequent falls from after shocks.

Took the old trusty inspire 1 out for a fly about for the first time in about 6 months. Unfortunately the weather was so cold I couldn't get the second battery warm enough to take off hehe

I'm excited to see what DJI are launching next week. I'm hoping for a Mavic with a P4P type camera

Given that Autel announced the Evo at CES, which claims P4P style 1" sensor, 4K @ 60fps on a three axis gimbal, and 30 minutes flight time - DJI are likely to want to respond biggrin

Here's my compilation vid from my holiday in China, first time using the Mavic properly. Didn't seem to be any drone restrictions there!

The comprehensively ruined Cambus O'may suspension bridge, flooding pushed caravans and trees under it a coupe of years ago.

And the ruined Slains castle, apparently Bram Stokers inspiration for Dracula
