Ok, who was the one with the picture on BBC Breakfrost this morning?
I wondered that Did you hear the dumb presenter comment - along the lines of "He must have been standing on high ground to take that"3FiveFive said:
I've bought a Mavic Air as an impulse buy How essential are filters to the footage i would like to take? I will be filming a mixture of urban/rural/car videos.
I'd advise against filtersI use my mavic for stills and there is no need in that mode
For video people like to use them to get better exposures which they then tweak in software for the "look" they want
My other reason for not using them is they add weight (and load) to a very small and complex gimbal. I'd rather not cause an issue DJI will reject a warranty claim on.

Good points, I hadn't considered any warranty issues.I use my mavic for stills and there is no need in that mode

It also gives you the advantage if you wish to shoot video and images at the same time.
Their use in video is very useful as it allows you to get your exposure to around 1/50 which gives the most natural looking footage.
