Stress levels are there when trying to land on a moving boat, I assure.
Esp when all the sensors are saying ‘no no no no’ !!

Good fun. More of us and OH as Kate Winslet on the bow etc taken today, but not for tinternet
Two flights - and kicked myself after flight one as I realised I had not pulled the fenders in and stowed
but
compared to terrifying landings last year, new method is crank up the engine when coming in to land and some reverse thrust to bring the boat speed down to 2 or 3 knots. Still not easy - forward at 3knts alongside and then side slide in and pluck out of the sky avoiding the rigging etc. bouncing up and down.

You looked at my profile didn't you
Not at all. I grew up in the Black Isle, and I spent many Sundays racing around Wester Ross on motorbikes in the 90s. And in my 30s I built the water treatment works at Shieldaig, Torridon, Alligin and Diabeg.I recognised the hills in the background and where the river Torridon goes into the Loch.

Love the lighting of the self-storage place - looks great Apparently, the DJI Mini 2 should not be flow below 0degrees as it causes issues with stability at height. I can also tell you, it doesn't like being flown in temperatures right around freezing as mine was slowly drifting sideways of it's own accord, so today's mission was a tricky and quick flight up to 30 mts just to get an over view of the local area in the seasonal weather
My DJI 3 pro fell out of the sky at -2C about 7 years ago.
Since then, none of my drones will let me take off unless they are warm enough - and when they are up, they generate their own heat.
Was flying today to 1000 ft above a loch - and it's bloody cold up here in northern Scotland!
Top tip... make sure batteries are warm before takeoff.

Quick question, what's the best way to get the batteries warm? Is it really as simple as keeping them in a pocket next to your body or is there a more techy way?Since then, none of my drones will let me take off unless they are warm enough - and when they are up, they generate their own heat.
