Looks like the battery needs a charge cycle according to what I have been reading.
How do you intend to do this? I've read several ways, but don't know the best. Ta.So I intend to fly to around 20%, land and leave the drone on (with motors off, props removed) and run the battery slowly down to 8%. After a while I'll charge it fully.
I plan to do this on Sunday so I'll post my findings.
I have a pass to leave the Shire and head north for a week so this is last photo from my practise field for now. I shall be demonstrating how to loose a drone in wilds of Scotland

Bet that was a nervous flight.... Pics are great though I've never been that far out. The Phantom looks like a postage stamp @300m
Perhaps these things aren't as a daft an idea as we first thought.... Zoomies
I could probably bore you stupid for months now Not as much flying as I intended to do but still had some great times as always.

Did a whole week in wales and it was virtually gale force winds all week and took it out today up on the moors and... you get the idea.
Anyone wanna buy a drone?
I know what you mean, just about every flight I did in Scotland felt like it may be last for that particular drone. It performed flawlessly and boosted my confidence no end. Anyone wanna buy a drone?

Out of interest, what is everyone flying? For comparison, I took this today
Hubsan H107C - 2Mp camera!
It's not bad to fly, but the wind and it's own mood can take it in any direction, all movement translates back to the camera and the exposure is all over the place.
On the plus side, it cost £40, though the spare motors and blades have probably doubled that
I have an Inspire, it really is very good in wind and the gimbal works well. All I have to do now is learn how to film in a professional way Hubsan H107C - 2Mp camera!

It looks like we were a week out with the weather this spring Sandwood Bay will have to wait until next time. Still, there were breaks in the wind and rain.

I qualified as a UAV pilot today, I just need to sort out my Ops manual and it'll be time to give up driving trucks for a living.
Good work, and the very best to you Really pleased you got this. Well deserved.
Just have to sort myself out someday.
