My wife spotted the Phantom 3 Advanced for sale at Maplins a few weeks back for £499

It was advertised as used, but they give a 12 month warranty saying it's been checked over by a DJI authorised technician (hmmm...okay) and that by 'used' it could be either bought and returned or ex-display.

The one I got was absolutely unmarked and came with an extra set of props in the box. Flies absolutely perfectly!

I see they currently have a 3Pro for sale at the same price - worth a look.

I love this thread
VERY tempted by a Mavic as it will easily go in the 650 for our euro trips
But then P3P is much cheaper and looks to give a better image quality

Here's an early effort with my P3S. Love flying it. I do have a question though - I used RTH to fly it back yesterday and during the landing descent I found that no matter what direction I pushed the right stick, it flew away from me. Cancelled auto-landing and normal behaviour resumed. It wasn't on course lock or home lock. Any ideas?

It's all gone a bit quiet in here, so a few more from me.. I met a mate with his new P3A today, and along with my P3S. Itching for an upgrade now! Saying that I managed a good 500m range with my Standard.
