Glad it worked. You should switch to firefox browser, then you can just right click "copy image location" then paste that into your [pic] thing and presto!

Now I'm guessing but is this two lenses stuck together? OR have I misunderstood? Any chance of a photo of the contraption if this is the case?

Well, this one really straddles the Nikon/Canon debate
It's a Nikon 180mm on the camera (D70 - and it retains metering, which I'd lose with extension ring) then I backed up an old Canon 50mm F1.8 using those adapter rings araldited together. Cheap addition to the kit bag!
Shot in sunlight at ISO 800 F22 1/45th handheld (fool - how was it ever going to be sharp?) and cropped (for vignetting as much as anything) and sharpened in PS.
