Outside time lapse camera for building site
Discussion
Afternoon
I'm after a set and leave camera that I can point at a building site and capture a build time lapse.
Ideally it will be waterproof, and mountable, if I could set it to wake up and take a picture once an hour (between say 8am and 6pm), then go back to sleep that would be great, as the memory card and battery should last weeks/months.
Any ideas of a reasonably priced way of doing this?
Thanks 🙂

Brinno is the answer as previously mentioned. Just used one on a new build over the last few months. Has been taking a photo every minute during the day, produces a video.

Batteries seem to last a good couple of weeks, I have been using good quality rechargeable and swapping over.

I have a Binno TLC100 mounted on a pole at the end of my garden to record the progress of my extension build. I have been taking it down to check on it occasionally (take it out the waterproof case which is securely mounted so I don't effect the aim)
The camera has been up since the start of April taking a shot every 10 minutes between 08:00 and 17:00 and I sill have yet to need to replace the batteries! the quality is good and it compiles the photos into a finished video so its all ready to view
if you set it to record during a time period - which you should really as it saves editing out weekends and nighes - it creates a file per day, I have just been using a simple program on my PC to stitch them all together into one file.

This looks very interesting indeed, I wish I had known about this camera last year, though one question, the info on their website states that various lenses can be fitted to the Brinno TLC200 PRO camera, what lens is actually supplied with it as standard?http://www.brinnouk.co.uk
