Having a bit of fun this weekend in an Evo VII and a new Boxster S. Wanted some mean and moody 'Midnight Racing' style shots. Hope you like 'em.

Very nice, I think you got exactly the effect you were after!

Number one is best for me - did you hang out the window or use a rig to get these?

BTW, you might want to resize them to 750px wide or less, since the automatic image resizing on PH does nothing for the quality of the shots.

Cool shots Bad_roo - did you take them yourself? No. 2 is my fave by far - tell us how you did it please? No. 1 & 4 look like they were taken in a car park which detracts a little from the street racing feel for me - I'm guessing they were low speed long shutter jobs? No.3 has a cool grainy feel - would look even better with a bit of tweaking of the yellow channel, some increased contrast and maybe a little gaussian noise. Cool chots though - any of the Boxster?

Canon EOS D30 was mounted onto a suction cup for the shots. 0.5 second shutter speed - cars moving about 10mph!

I like the first shot too - the tiny amount of movement has made the Evo's metallic paint look pearlescent!

I didn't put the rig on the Evo because it's my brother in law's car and I wouldn't want to be responsible if it fell off and clouted his bodywork.

Here's the car, parked next to a previous model S for reference...

Great pictures, really like the first two! They have a really great underground racing style feel to them!
