Nikon D70 slide show

I have a Nikon D70. When I attempt a slide show on TV the picture is highly degraded and pixelated. Anyone out there know why? Nikon has no answer!

What are you using to create your slide show?

It's worth bearing in mind that the resolution of television is MUCH lower than that of your camera - so I wouldn't necessarily expect the quality on a TV to be that good.

Even a £20,000 plasma won't have high enough resolution to display an image from your D70 at full quality....

Are you plugging the camera in using the S-video or whatever it's called? There's something in the manual about having the settings right.... but I've not tried it myslef....

D70 - 3008 x 2000 pixels, non-interlaced.

TV - 720 x 576, interlaced.

That's why they look crap!
