It was Claire's birthday on Sunday, and on Saturday her present arrived which we spend a lovely weekend playing with around the Norfolk coast!

Some of the pics aren't so great - I used Auto a bit as I didn;t want to miss 'moments'!

How I kept it a secret I don't know - I was ready to burst come Saturday. Shame it was only rented so had to go back on Monday

Her folks sent her on a flying lesson in the morning, which left he a bit 'green'

Cheers,

Was this one of those "you get her the present you really want" things?

Maybe... she wanted a Lambo

Fortunately we are both pertrolheads, so lots of gifts have a certain crossover appeal

You seem to have Photoshopped that green cast out quite well....

In fact I think it's contagious! I'm feeling a bit green with envy for the toy. As you say pity it had to go back.

Nice poster of this event for her next surprise, eh?

The flying was funny (now ) - they paid for 5 minutes of aerobatics. She was a bit nervous and the headphone connection went a bit so she just kept nodding/agreeing (in hindsight not the best move) - some of her nods resulted in loop-the-loops!

The 360 was awesome. Simply stunning - very very fast but very easy to drive as well. A bit wide for some of the Norfolk roads though

I have some more pics when I'll upload tonight.
