Subject for March 2018 is Technology

This could be pictures of specific technological equipment, something about the impact that technology has had, or even a picture enabled by a specific technology.

As we are pretty much surrounded by technology these days, hopefully there will be something accessible to everyone regardless of location or the weather!

Good luck everyone.

Rules:

The photos taken must be your own work and taken in the month of the competition.
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for the following month and judges it at the end of the month.
Entries and discussion on this single thread, please.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Photos entered should be no bigger than 750 pixels wide for a landscape photo and 600 pixels high for a portrait photo due to the PH squash factor. Links to larger versions are permissible.

Technology that changed the world. Well, probably not this one which has a broken balance spring!

I thought that I heard an echo! smile

Well, that was a little disappointing with only the one entry this month. I had thought that it was a fairly open category, but maybe not.

Thanks for making the effort, Paul - a good example of some traditional technology, and as the only entry, you are indeed the winner of the March competition.

I look forward to your category for the April competition, and hopefully we might have a few more entries this month!

Ha ha, yes that was a rather Pyrrhic victory! Particularly as I never entered the competition before.

I thought that it was a really good theme and I had several possible ideas to contribute. I just happened to be shooting this object from the family rubbish in the cellar and was told that it was a spoil of World War 2, from an Axis soldier. How true that is I have no idea.

Anyhow I will put on my thinking cap and provide a new competion challenge before tonight is over.
