I'd never even heard of the K1 until this thread!

I have the 40mm pancake lens, but it doesn't get anywhere near as much use as my 50mm. It only ever comes with me when I'm travelling, as it is small enough to use instead of a body cap yet still gives me an alternative to the zooms.

I'm gonna try more street work so I'm hoping that the middle of the 3 usual choices will work OK 35 40 50. If I don't get on with the 40 then I will just get the 50 too

For street stuff, I'd be looking at the 85mm smile

I don't often want to take pictures of people in the street but when I do I find the tilt screen of the Sony A9 very handy, hold the camera at waist height and make like I am struggling with the controls, when really I'm snapping away merrily with the silent shutter smile

Like the TLR of old. It must have seemed quite strange, at some stage in the development of photography, to have to hold the camera in front of one's face!
