The theme for the June competition is:

"Wheel"

Entries can be of pretty much anything, as long as there is a wheel or something that could be interpreted as a wheel in it. Bit obscure so please interpret how you like!

Good luck everyone.

Rules:
The photos taken must be your own work and can be taken at anytime, but please get out with your gear if you have time.
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for the following month and judges it at the end of the month.
Entries and discussion on this single thread, please.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Photos entered can be as large as you like (unless the mods step in). PH doesn't seem to squash pictures like it used to and it's not like we have hundreds of entries.

Was going to put my recent panning one in but it's not as good as Dave's so I'll go with an older photo.

Not my best work, but I took it last week on the first day I drove my Corolla to work after working on it on and off for 2 years.

Show with a FED 3 rangefinder camera, the film is Kodak VR 1000 shot as ISO 200. It's 35 years past it's expiry date.

Well, probably too late for the competition.
But just for fun then, a few circular submissions...

Sorry for the delay in judging... cunning plan of setting myself a reminder in google calendar did not work!

Lots of interesting submissions and different types of "wheel" - way more than I envisaged when setting the theme which is great!

So, I judge the winner to be C&C for London South Bank!

In particular I liked the amount of motion blur being just right - with motion it can be hard to get enough motion and not too much.

Thanks Iain.

There certainly were some very good and very different entries this month, so I'm surprised to be chosen. smile

Personally I also really liked the grinding wheel and sparks from MrMister and the girl on the bike from And172940 too!

I'll get this month's competition subject posted before the end of today.
