August Photography Competition - "Bokeh"
Discussion
A bit of soft bokeh. This shot from the restaurant in Musee d'Orsay in Paris on the south bank of the Seine looking across the city to Sacre Coeur on a hill top a few miles away. The target being the cathedral, the large clock window provides a soft framing with a diffuse silhouette of the diners and staff in the foreground.

Had fun with this as I found a new function on my phone camera. Telling on my photography skills that this is the best one. I like it though. Think it tells a story.

Lots of great entries this month making it so difficult to pick a top three but I went for the following based on how much I liked each one based on the subject and composition rather than are they technically brilliant etc.
Third place - velocemitch's whisky bottles.
Second place - burton_ii's field of red flowers.
And the winner for August is C&C with his blue lizard. I love the sharpness of the face relative to most of the rest of the picture.
Well done to everyone else who entered and good luck for September.
