I was going to ask the same question.
I believe It was a dummy aircraft that was put there for display when the Queen visited Rosyth to christen the ship.Edited by davidexige on Sunday 15th December 17:21
Although there is now a real aeroplane stuck on HMS QE in Portsmouth Dockyard. Apparently it "went tech" on the cruise back to the UK and couldn't be flown off before the ship docked, and not they're struggling to find a window in the foul weather we've been having that has suitable wind conditions to get it airborne safely...

Was on the news earlier - I’m not convinced its really real.
Yep, that's where I see it too. Must admit I thought it looked a tad posed, especially seeing as they managed to get down to floor level, having seen 'the fight' to take the photo.Saleen836 said:

Moors Valley Country Park, near Ringwood, Dorset. Lots more there too, including the Gruffalo's Child, mice, foxes, owls, etc, along with an extensive Play Trail. I've not long moved here and I wish my kids were younger so I'd have an excuse to follow the trail and play on all the swings and slides myself!yellowjack said:

Brilliant - thanks for that I was marshalling at a meeting at Brands Hatch once that had a m/c sidecar race on the programme. In the pit lane I was giving one of the machines a look over when one of the crew came up to chat about it. He told me platform of the sidecar was a seat off a double decker bus from Sheffield. There seemed to be precious little to hold on to. I asked the guy how hard was it to hold on, and his reply was that the faster you go, the easier it gets.

He'd qualified on the front row and the pair was up for it. He got away quickly but, even so, was surprised to see the other combinations fall back. Going into Clearways he was feeling confident, right up until the chair lifted, tossing him off the bike and ending his race.
It seems that his brother had slipped when trying to get on the chair and was back in the dust. He said that the thing that irritated him the most was that everyone at Brands, including those watching, those competing, those marshaling, and even his brother, knew that he was going to turn over. They also realised he must have felt that he'd beaten everyone else. The only one in ignorance of the outcome was him, and that wasn't for long.
