It's a Jagdpanther (tank-destroyer version of the Panther), which sported an 88/L71 - the long-barrel high-velocity update to the Tiger-1 gun, and the same as fitted to the Tiger II and Elefant.The Panther and the JP were arguably the most worrying of all the Wehrmacht armour (when they worked / didn't run out of fuel, at least) - more mobility than the Tiger and the heavier tank destroyers, but with armour enough to defeat most Allied guns.
