The old masters didn't need to resort to that to create a great picture.
There is a lot of unnatural pink going on.

I did take another a few night later where I managed to sort the 'dotty' nature of the star trails, and get the north star in it, but I caught a few planes so felt it wasn't as uniquely relevant to the current lockdown no aeroplanes situation!

I'm going to guess that that's no plane, rather it's a satellite (or, if that's just a single shot rather than a stack, SpaceX's Starlink satellites one after the other).

Nice photo either way.
