This month's photo competition is on the theme 'Lines'

That should be open enough for people who are stuck at home and for those who can get out and about.

Rules:
The photos taken must be your own work and can be taken at anytime, but please only get out with your gear if you have safe opportunity etc.
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
you can only submit one, and only one, photo.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for the following month and judges it at the end of the month.
Entries and discussion on this single thread, please.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Photos entered can be as large as you like, although bear in mind if too large, it may not be possible to see the whole image on some screens. Links to larger versions are permissible.

Good to repeat - I had a few options!

Here's a recent one I took.

Whoops, I never even noticed that one at the time! I checked the wiki to avoid repeats too but it hadn't been updated since January.

I've just updated the wiki with all the results since January and I've added a line in the instructions to remind the winner to update the wiki after the end of the competition

and an entry too....

Hi, you may or may not be interested to know that this is a painting done on chewing gum rather than a sticker. There's a guy called Ben who sits on the bridge and paints them.

As a Midlander who makes the very occasional photography trip to the capital - no I wasn't aware, but it's a brilliant story - thanks!

From an early morning dog walk along my street.
I saw this day after day and then finally remembered to take a camera with me!!

By the way, how do I get the Flickr version of the image on here rather than the tiny thumbsnap one?

This was taken on a BeLOMO Villia 35mm camera, which has a nasty habbit of not moving the frame forward sufficiently when you advance the film. So sometimes two photos will over lap like this, although this is the worst I've ever had from it. But it's also the closest I'm going to get to lines this side of Christmas.

Film used was Fomopan 400.

Right then, after a few years hardly taking any photos I am getting back to photography.

Not entirely sure why I stopped, but I know a big part of it was that when I moved house a few years ago I lost my desk/work area and monitor. Setting up the laptop on the kitchen table to edit/sort photos and using only a fairly rubbish laptop screen was not ideal. Seems a rubbish excuse I know! Anyway, that is all sorted now, and I am all properly set up again.

Stumbled across this thread today and remembered I used to submit photos. Nearly end of June of course and the light was very nice this evening, so I ventured out for a walk around my village. This was the best I could come up with.
